Financial Assistance
We want our school to be affordable to everyone who wants to enroll. We offer a sliding-scale tuition and several full scholarships to families who qualify. This year it will cost CMS over $4,500 or $450/mo to educate each child. Outside fundraising, by volunteer board members and others, has been and continues to be our means of offering tuition subsidies. It is very important to all of us at CMS to remove financial barriers to Montessori education and to serve the Cochise County population.
Sliding-scale tuition
In exchange for volunteer service of 2 hours per month, parents may request to pay what they are comfortable with, between $2,000 and $4,500 for the year. Tuition may be paid in 10 monthly installments of between $200 and $450.
Full scholarships
We have several full scholarships still available to families who qualify. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested, as they are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and must be given out by the end of October for students beginning no later than November 2013. The application process is very simple and kept strictly confidential. The child(ren) receiving the scholarship must be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident of the U.S. and between the ages of 3-5. The family's yearly income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL). See the chart below for income requirements:
