Dan Frey

Acting President

​Dan recently retired from constituent services work for our Members of Congress, Gabrielle Giffords and Ron Barber.  He continues to teach in post-secondary education at Cochise College and the University of Arizona, Sierra Vista.  He is also on the board of Friends of Warren Ballpark.

Joanne Darbee

Joanne Darbee has long been an advocate of hands-on, contextual instruction for learners both young and old.  Joanne has been involved with building student programs at the post-secondary level for over 20 years, and she believes that action-oriented social learning is integral to fostering self-efficacy skills in the individual.   Joanne holds a Master of Art’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from the SUNY College at Buffalo.

Melanie Germond

 

Melanie Germond lives with her family in Bisbee and works with her husband Pete Goldlust in various public art ventures. Their older son, Ben, attended the CMS playgroup from 2008 to 2011 and their younger son, Ezra, started at the school in 2012. Melanie holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, and for 15 years traveled across the US and Europe with her medieval music vocal trio, Liber. Locally, she has directed choirs and taught voice at Cochise College, and recently started up a kids singing camp as part of the LEAP Summer Program.
